The Condominiums at Captain's Cove

Captain’s Cove Condominium complex is located on Cove Way, which is off the Southern Artery, also known as Route 3A. The complex is situated alongside the waters of Town River off Quincy Bay in a section of Quincy known as Quincy Point. It overlooks the Town River Bay with magnificent views of the Boston skyline and rolling green lawns, which surround an inviting swimming pool. The view of gracefully drifting seagulls and sunsets is awe inspiring and ones that poets write about. Yachts of all descriptions at the Captain’s Cove Marina and at the neighboring property, the Town River Yacht Club, as well as the tugboats and tankers going up and down the river provide constant interest and entertainment. In addition to the lovely view, the amenities available to the owners include a pool, tennis court, exercise room and a sauna. There are also common area laundry rooms available for the convenience of unit owners.

The complex consists of two buildings comprising 303 units. Developed in the mid 1980’s by the Ricciardi Company, then owned by Paul Ricciardi and his two sons, Stephen and Paul, the complex unfolded in two phases. Phase one consisted of a building with 100 units and Phase two built the following year had 203 units. These two buildings are known as Building 100 and Building 200. Building 100 consists of all two-bedroom/two-bath units. Building 200 consists of both one-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom /two-bath units. All but a few units have their own generous balcony and also contain in-unit laundry connections. The Captain’s Cove Condominium Association is currently managed by a five-person Board of Trustees, who are elected by the Condominium Association at annual meetings held each February. There is a Property Manager on site weekdays in an office located on the first floor of Building 200 for the convenience of the owners where they can obtain helpful information on all matters relating to the complex.
